REELS & DRUMS
From initial contact with Business Development through seamless hand-off to your dedicated Project Manager, you will be kept updated and informed about project progress every step of the way;
Our dedicated team of experts can optimise your designs and save weight, helping to reduce your carbon footprint, and reduce costs;
EAF steel suppliers are preferred using >75% recycled steel. Scope 3 emissions provided per product from cradle to gate. SEA’s scrap steel is sold back into a closed-loop cycle to re-supply EAF foundries;
Our truck fleet has a best-in-class HSE record with zero AARm for over 5-years. We have road transport solutions to your door and shipping options direct to your quayside helping reduce Scope 3 emissions; Reel Storage – SEA is fully insured, why not let us store your reels, with or without umbilical products. We can help solve your lack of yard space by managing you reel logistics locally and supply your needs JIT;
Use the strength of steel and re-use your reels. Let us refurbish them to help reduce your Scope 3 emissions, use multiple times and maximise the circular economy and bring power to your value chain. Upgrade reels to a different barrel size to reduce the cost and carbon footprint of building new reels;
Lean production minimising waste and rework further reducing ‘cradle to gate’ Scope 3 emissions. Expert 2nd and 3rd Party inspections offering a wide range of NDT options. Full quality assurance of all MRBs prior to issue;
With dedicated single points of contact, we pride ourselves in going the extra mile to support your requirements. We can also help you manage relationships at your tube vendors, dealing with them directly to ensure reels are delivered and returned safely, when you need them;
Optimise your carbon footprint, why not rent reels? Pay for a reel when you use it and return it back when finished. We can also help you manage and track your reels with GPS to optimise locating reels in your yard. We produce a wide range of flange size and drum type custom built to your requirements.

RODS & WIRES
From initial contact with Business Development through seamless hand-off to your dedicated Project Manager, you will be kept updated and informed about project progress every step of the way;
SEA designs and engineered a wide range of hi-tech machines and integrated solutions, ranging from the automotive industry, renewable energy and energy service companies;
Steel wire and rope bundles are straightened, welded together then x-rayed. The OD tolerance is checked by laser and the meters spooled is recorded before the weight element is spooled onto a PU coated reel;
Our truck fleet has a best-in-class HSE record with zero AARm for over 5-years. We have road transport solutions to your door and shipping options direct to your quayside helping reduce Scope 3 emissions. Optimize your yard space, store your umbilical products on our reels at our facility and we can supply you JIT;
SEA learns from each production run and improvements to the design and building are constantly being made, e.g. automatic measuring of the OD;
Welds are X-rayed in 3 positions to check quality before grinding; OD is measured by laser, and distance spooled is measured by capstan.
Let SEA help save you time closing your umbilicals using welded steel weight components that dramatically reduces the number of welds required during closure;
SEA has designed and built its own welding and spooling lines for umbilical weight elements. SEA can also design and build spooling equipment to custom specification.
SEA are in a unique position to offer professional inspection services with vast experience in working with DUX and SDUX tubes. Inspectors have a wide range of NDT and welding certification.
INSPECTION & TESTING

SEA inspectors have a wide range of experience of inspections and testing in the mechanical engineering sector.
Our SEA inspectors are available for operations worldwide 24/7. They frequently mobilize for projects throughout Europe.
SEA Inspectors have prevented numerous rework by identifying problems before they escalate. SEA are continuously updating certifications and are now accredited to ISO 17020 and ISO 17025.
SEA Inspectors have a high degree of competence, with a high level of certification and experience built up over time. Inspectors have a wide range of NDT certification.
SEA inspectors have years of experience working as second-party inspectors, directly for the end client, and as third-party inspectors working for the contracted company.
SEA has designed and built its own destructive testing pressure test bay, especially suited for the bust testing of super duplex metal tubes.
